| Project Description | The project aims to work on the immediate recovery of the 50 hectares forest using local species of trees that are wind resistant supplemented by fruit bearing trees. It will help on the immediate recovery of the devastated communities as it would provide jobs among the struggling disaster victims in terms of reforestation related activities and nursery forestry management. Moreover, the project aims to increase the resilience of poor affected communities thereby contributing to the overall movement for disaster risk reduction. |
