What we do
Planting Seeds for a Sustainable Future
OISCA activities build on the concept of restoring and conserving rich Nature while promoting primary industries and sustainable livelihood development in rural communities. OISCA’s endeavors focus on satisfying basic human needs – particularly foods and water – with sound agricultural production supported by holistic life-support systems involving diverse forms of life. OISCA pursues development in harmony with Nature with biological diversity realized by planting forests and sustainable agriculture with less or no chemicals.
Its members, corporations’ CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) divisions, foundations, government, and international agencies provide financial assistance.
Capacity Building is one of the cornerstones of our projects for building sustainable future. OISCA`s 22 training centers located in 11 countries including Japan, aims to empower the youths through agriculture training, home economics, and technical skills training. Graduates of the program are expected to be the leaders and catalyst for change and help in the development of their own respective communities. More details
