Activities	Planting of mangrove saplings Sonnaretia apetale, Avicennia sp. and indigenous specie locally known as keora with the local and Japanese volunteers to restore into its original condition the mangrove vegetation which was damaged after it was converted for salt production.
Project Impact	Increase in the number of mangrove vegetation cover along the coastal area of Chakaria. Improved species biodiversity because of the gradual recovery of the mangrove ecosystem.
