On March 28, 2025, a large earthquake occurred in the Mandalay region of central Myanmar and caused significant damage. It has been reported that, as of April 2, more than 3,000 persons were killed, over 4,500 persons injured, and a large number of people missing.
There was also significant material damage to buildings, communication networks, etc.
There is a possibility that further damage may occur in the future.

OISCA established the DOA-OISCA Agricultural & Leadership Training Center in Pyawbwe Township, located approximately 150 km southeast of Mandalay, the epicenter of the earthquake, to provide training for agricultural leadership development since 2017.
The training center suffered some building damage, including collapsed ceilings and walls, but fortunately there were no human casualties.

On the other hand, towns and villages near the training center were also severely damaged, and local staff reported that they had already started providing water and food that had been stockpiled at the training center in collaboration with local cooperating organizations.
As the number of people in need of assistance is expected to increase further, we have received a request from the local staff for assistance from Japan.
It will take some time before the full extent of the damage is known, but we request that you make a emergency donation so that we can quickly deliver the necessary support.

Any Amount would be greatly appreciated.
