  3. OISCA was presented with Trophy of Appreciation by Malaysia’s Deputy Prime Minister at MARA’s 60th Anniversary

   On May 3, a ceremony commemorating the 60th anniversary of the founding of MARA was held at the World Trade Center Kuala Lumpur. Since 1967, OISCA has been collaborating with the MARA to carry out human resources project, primarily in the industrial sector.

   On the event day, approximately 1,300 people attended, including representatives from the Rural and Regional Development Ministry which oversees MARA as well as representatives from partner organizations and private companies. From Japan, participants included Mr. Yasuaki Nagaishi, Vice President of OISCA International, Mr. Takaaki Tsubouchi, President and CEO of Aichi Daihatsu, which has accepted technical intern trainees from MARA, and two other representatives.

   At the ceremony, awards were presented to organizations that, together with MARA, have contributed to Malaysia’s development, and OISCA was presented with a trophy by Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi in recognition of its contribution to a sustainable global society.

   Meanwhile, Vice President Yasuaki Nagaishi exchanged views on future collaboration with the Vice President of Kuala Lumpur University, an institution under the MARA umbrella, and the General Manager of the Kedah State Muda Agricultural Development Authority (MADA).
