3 March 2026,

On March 3, on the occasion of a visit to Uzbekistan by 10 OISCA members from Japan, OISCA Uzbekistan held the opening ceremony of a branch in Urganch. The city of Urganch is the capital of Khorezm Province, with which OISCA has signed a memorandum of understanding; the government aims to develop the city into a logistics and industrial hub as the central city of the western region.

The city’s deputy mayor in charge of economic affairs and investment attended the opening ceremony and, together with the chairman of the OISCA Urganch branch, performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the branch office. The branch office is located in a rapidly developing area, and large-scale construction projects are underway in the surrounding neighborhood. Among them is “Japan Plaza,” a mixed-use complex featuring hotels and commercial facilities funded by Japanese investment. The branch office has expressed its desire to actively pursue business partnerships with Japan while promoting the “Children’s Forest” Program (CFP).
