The 20th anniversary of the Hong Kong Japan Memorial Forest and the Kickoff for carbon reduction promotional campaign ceremony organized by the OISCA International Hong Kong was successfully held in the Yuen Long Town Hall on December 14, 2021.

Dr. WONG Fook-yee, Former Assistant Director of Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation and Mr. YAGYU Masaichi, Secretary-General, The Hong Kong Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, other distinguished guests attended.
At the ceremony, OISCA Hong Kong introduced the history and development progress of the Hong Kong Japan Exchange Memorial Forest. Souvenirs were awarded to various sponsors and organizations presenting appreciation for supporting in these 20 years. Furthermore, receiving the support from consulate-General of Japan in Hong Kong, the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department and SUREIN Foundation in the ceremony, OISCA Hong Kong established the plan of forest planting activity in the future.
The ceremony is not only celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Hong Kong Japan Exchange Memorial Forest but also kicking off for carbon reduction promotional campaign. We would like to strive for the goal of carbon neutrality with the forest planting activity cooperating with Japanese in Hong Kong and the Hong Kong citizen.
Finally, led by Mr. Alexander CHAN, President of OISCA Hong Kong, the ceremony has concluded with a ribbon-cutting. We wish the Hong Kong citizen may participate in our activities like our slogan “Zero Carbon Emission Go Go Go!”
